Barbour to Deliver ‘State of the State' Tuesday

The Jackson Free Press reported in 2008 that Gov. Haley Barbour had given relief to a string of men who brutally killed wives and girlfriends. The national media is starting to notice.

[Verbatim] Jackson, Mississippi - Governor Haley Barbour will deliver his sixth State of the State address at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, in the House Chambers at the State Capitol. Governor Barbour will report on the state's austere budget for Fiscal Year 2010, his assessment of current issues and the continuing rebuilding efforts from Hurricane Katrina.

Governor Barbour's State of the State Address will be broadcast live on television and radio by Mississippi Public Broadcasting. The speech will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 15, on MPB World, the station's digital cable channel.
