I'm not surprised Harper won, though neither he or Charlie Ross really did anything to separate themselves from the other.

Sweet, another Baptist to impose his backwards moral code on America.

Did Charlie Ross really have anything to do with the four-lane expansion of Spillway? I thought that was in the works before he came along. And, Harry: not all Baptists are bad. Just Politicians. :D

I'm just a little bitter after being told that I was going to hell because I'm Catholic.

Ah, another vast generalization. Since one person told you that, all baptists are evil?

Sorry about that. Not all of us believe that. Personal opinion: anyone that does is a wacko. Anyone that actually says something about it is a psycho.

I am SO happy Greg made it over Ross. Greg, while he campaigned to the right, understands compromise and making things work. He is not some extremist, he is committed to his beliefs. As an attorney, he is one who understands all facets and works for a reasonable middle, and I have worked around Greg. The amazing thing I got a lot of calls across party lines to support Greg, simply to make sure Ross was out. The most calls came from moderate Republicans to encourage me to get moderate Democrats to vote Republican for Harper, because they hated Ross. Greg is not one that compromises nothing, nor one that folds. I would love a more progressive candidate and there is still an election to be had. But to send Charlie Ross home and assure that arrogant right wing militant hateful individual doesn't have a PRAYER, I would elect Greg Harper today. He is a moderate in the Republican Party. Of course this post may cost him votes... calling him a moderate. AGamma627
