Oh, thanks for the update, Cam! I enjoyed it. I'll be happy to do it again. If we got a good recording of my segment, is it OK if we podcast it AFTER 2 p.m. Central? Thanks!

Donna, I just listened to your interview with Cam Edwards. You did a great job (as always) with formulating ideas for others to arrive at their own conclusion. FM has gone too far into waters that are too deep for a rational and logical return to a position as Mayor of the City of Jackson. This man has said to this community, "I AM NOT A MAYOR." Could this be so simple that all we need to do is simply ask for his resignation? I know that there are others who might try to keep him in this position for the next 3 yrs. to protect their salaries but, FM knows that he is at the end of his rainbow. He said, "I'VE HAD A HARD WEEK AND I NEED A HUG." Translation: FM has torn this City apart and he needs a strait-jacket.

Strait-jacket. That's funny. If he doesn't act better after the meltdown last week, I'm inclined to agree.

Also, here's our story about Mayor Melton's gun safety (or lack thereof), as outlined by local NRA instructor Cliff Cargill.

Thanks, Cam. We're on it. To the rest of you, thanks for the comments. I think this is a perfect example of people with very different views coming together to look at a situation that is very dangerous. I'm not exactly an NRA gal -- which Cam and I laughed a bit about before hand -- but we agree that guns should be handled safely and legally. And I would fully expect real conservatives to be concerned about search-and-seizure, constitutional rights and liberties, and so on. The more spotlights from different places shined on Mr. Melton, the more likely he is to drop the "bizarre" behavior and start being a mayor.
