UPDATED/URGENT: Take Food to St. Andrews

All, Rev. Connolly just wrote again about food that is needed in the Jackson shelters. Please do what you can:

More evacuees are coming in, and the people already at shelters cannot leave and they need prepared meals. Volunteers are in the St. Andrew's Cathedral kitchen cooking anything parishioners bring in from their freezers, then delivering to the Coliseum and the Trade Mart. You may either cook your items and take to the Coliseum yourself, or we will cook it for you and deliver it to the folks in need. About 20 parishioners brought in items today and were prepared in the following dishes:

Spinach stuffed shells
Spinach Madeline
Roast Pork Loin
Bar-B-Q
Beef Tips & Noodles
Lasagna
Sausage & Biscuits
Chicken Gumbo
Succotash
Banana Bread
Green Beans
Brownies
Ham bean soup
Hamburgers
Grilled chicken

We are in need of cut up chickens, ground beef, vegetables, rice, and bread. Fresh fruit would be wonderful! Just drop it off at St. Andrew's and we will cook and deliver it to the shelters.
Blessings,
Emma
