Can the Dogs play the spoilers again? The Rebels, who suffered a rude awakening in last weekend's series with MSU, head for the Ozarks to face Arkansas (6:35 p.m., Fayetteville, Ark., 97.3 FM).

Major League Baseball, Arizona at Atlanta (6:30 p.m., CSS/620 AM): The
Braves begin a weekend series with
the Diamondbacks.
Saturday, May 16
Southern League baseball, Mississippi at Montgomery (7:05 p.m., Montgomery, Ala., 103.9 FM): The M-Braves begin a five-game series with the Biscuits (still one of the greatest nicknames in minor-league baseball.) … Thoroughbred racing, The Preakness (3:30 p.m., Ch. 3): Kentucky Derby-winner Mine That Bird is expected to take a run at winning the second leg of the Triple Crown. Odds are, the horse won't be getting 50-1 odds this time.

NBA basketball, Conference semifinals, Orlando at Boston and/or Houston at Los Angels Lakers (times TBA, Ch. 16 or TNT): If these series go to Game 7, the decisive play will be made today.
Monday, May 18
College baseball, Ferriss Trophy presentation (7 p.m., Jackson): Will Ole Miss' Scott Bittle claim the annual award for Mississippi's best college player again? Or will Southern Miss' Brian Dozier or Belhaven's Craig Wescott take home the trophy?
