Friday, Aug. 7
Southern League baseball, Mississippi at Montgomery (7 p.m., Huntsville, Ala., 103.9 FM): The M-Braves begin a 10-game road trip by facing the Stars in the mountains of Alabama. Don't forget your Mountain Dew.

Sunday, Aug. 9
NFL exhibition football, Tennessee vs. Buffalo in the Hall of Fame Game (7 p.m., Ch. 3): Are you ready for some football? Me, too, but we will have to see some preseason football. Expect to see a lot of Vince Young and a little of Terrell Owens.

Monday, Aug. 10
Minor League Baseball, Durham at Gwinnett (6 p.m., CSS): The Bulls (as seen in "Bull Durham") call on many of your favorite former M-Braves. Will Crash Davis be in the house?

Tuesday, Aug. 11
Major League Baseball, Washington at Atlanta (6 p.m., CSS, 620 AM): The Nationals are the one NL East team the Braves can beat (usually).

Wednesday, Aug. 12
Mississippi at Montgomery (7:05 p.m., Montgomery, Ala., 103.9 FM): The M-Braves move south for their series opener with the Biscuits. The Slate is compiled by Doctor S, when he's not busy mulling the title chase in the MLS.
