Ward 4 Councilman De’Keither Stamps questioned the lateness of the nominations Mayor Chokwe A. Lumumba put forth for the Jackson Public Schools Board of Trustees the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, saying it allowed little time to consider the candidates. But he ultimately voted to approve both of them.
