As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Originally, I wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer because it made my parents happy but deep down inside, I knew I loved the arts.

Think. Outside. Box.
What tools could you not live or work without?
My scissors, a needle and some thread.
What steps brought you to this position?
A love and a passion to create things that I see in Vogue and Elle magazine (and make them) affordable yet one of a kind, and the ability to share that with a younger generation of consumers, to help them realize that you don't have to spend a lot of money to have these items.
What is the strangest aspect of your job?
Waking up at 2 in the morning to sew and deciding if I want to listen to talk radio or some of my favorite music.

When I'm selling my own product, it's realizing that I'm providing a product that makes
What advice do you have for someone who is interested in becoming a teacher or a fashion designer?
They should become very familiar with computer graphics and also realize that they can do it now, and that you don't have to be 20 or 30 years old to do (it). All you need is one sample.
