The City of Jackson issued a precautionary boil-water advisory yesterday after a loss in water pressure for the following areas:
• Maddox Road between TV Road and Portwood Drive
• Timberlawn Road
• Channel 16 Way and Leggett Drive
• Harvey Street
• Jackson Avenue
The advisory affects approximately 100 customers that the Maddox Road Well System serves. City spokesman Chris Mims said the boil notice would likely be in effect for two more days.
