Start your weekend with a visit to the Downtown Harp & Juke Festival at Underground 119 (119 S. President St.) where you can dance and hear music from artists like Charlie Musselwhite, Bobby Rush and Billy Gibson. The tickets are $25 per day. Call 601-352-2322 or buy tickets online. If you prefer to take it easy, attend the Millsaps Singers' "Our Wesleyan Heritage" concert at Millsaps College, Ford Academic Complex (1701 N. State St.). On Saturday morning, nature lovers can head to the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge (2970 Bluff Lake Road, Brooksville) at 8:30 a.m. to join the Jackson Audubon Society's Fall Migration Field Trip. Call 601-956-7444 to find out more about this free adventure. If you want to help others, you can choose from two walks starting at 9 a.m. The Walk to Defeat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is at Winners Circle Park (100 Winners Circle, Flowood). The walk is free, but call 601-942-4856 for more details or register to walk online. The Central Mississippi Down Syndrome Society's Buddy Walk is at LeFleur's Bluff State Park, Mayes Lake (115 Lakeland Terrace) and includes family activities for those not walking. Register for the walk online. For a fun fall activity, head to Blocktoberfeast on Montbrook Street in the Broadmeadow neighborhood at 3 p.m. The third annual BlocktoberFeast includes the annual Whole Hog Pig Roast. On Sunday. take a short road trip to The Attic Gallery (1101 Washington St., Vicksburg) for the gallery's Art Car Project at 2 p.m. Participants can bring decorated Altoids tins to attach to the gallery's 1993 Toyota Corolla, call 601-638-9221 for more details. If you'd rather stay in town, visit the Four Seasons at the Cedars Fall Art Exhibit at The Cedars Historic Home (4145 Old Canton Road) for the free exhibit of artwork by Mississippi artists. This exhibit runs through Oct. 21; call 601-981-9606.
