Monday's Starting Five: Two Rebels Hit NFL Jackpot

Nobody tries to dodge this draft … Great weekend for Rebs … Majors must wait … JSU holds Tiger Fest … M-Braves get even.

NFL football: Two players from Ole Miss, Michael Oher and Peria Jerry, can now get paid (legally) for playing football. On Sunday, two more Rebels and two Golden Eagles were drafted. This is one draft guys don't mind getting caught in.

College baseball: Ole Miss takes two of three against Georgia. The Rebels have their way with the nation's No. 1 team.

College baseball: Millsaps goes 0-2 in SCAC Tournament. Now the Majors have to wait until May 10 to see if they get an NCAA bid. (They will.)

Jackson State sports: JSU named its baseball field after AD and former baseball coach Bob Braddy during Tiger Fest. And the Tigers won their spring football game.

Southern League baseball: M-Braves 6, Diamond Jaxx 4. M-Braves even the series.
