Southern League baseball: The M-Braves open the season tonight at the TeePee. Enjoy your rings, fellas. You pitchers might not be in Pearl for long: The Big Braves need some bullpen help.

College football: Southern Miss holds its second scrimmage of spring practice. Quarterback Austin Davis throws for three touchdowns. Unfortunately, Davis will not be facing USM's second-team defense when the season starts.

College football: Mississippi State will unveil its new uniforms next Wednesday in Starkville. The Bulldogs will wear maroon helmets with new MSU logos. Doctor S just loves uniform talk.
