Tuesday's Starting Five: To Dee Or Not To Dee?

Tar Heels romp … Who's coming to Trustmark Park? … MSU coach promises change … Dee Snider or Peter Finch?

Men's college basketball: North Carolina 89, Michigan State 72. The Tar Heels win the NCAA Tournament. And it wasn't really that close.

Southern League baseball: The Mississippi Braves announce their roster for 2009. There are 13 players back from the 2008 club. More importantly, manager Phillip Wellman is back.

College baseball: Mississippi State coach John Cohen is still madder than heck about his team's pitching. But he insists help is on the way. So is an overhaul of the roster.

Women's college basketball: Big East rivals Connecticut and Louisville play for the NCAA title tonight. Hey, the Louisville women did what the Louisville men didn't: Reach the title game.

Comments commentary: When faithful JFP commener Golden Eagle hears "... not gonna take it anymore," the Eagle thinks of ]Twisted Sister. When Doctor S hears it, Miskatonic U's favorite son also thinks of "Network".

Thanks for the honorable mention! Did someone tell Michigan State they were supposed to play a basketball game last night? They were run out of the same building by the same team they were run out of just a few months ago, though not as bad a slaughter.
