In my enthusiasm, I did lay it on a little thick in my intro, but this is a forum about issues as well. The 2006 legislative session is off and running and this will be a welcome place to express your opinions of what is going on at your State Capitol. Forgive my excitement and enjoy the blog.

Rep. Fleming, your excitement is one of the things that makes me glad you represent us in the state legislature. I've been following your career a lot lately, as I attended both the MIRA meeting where you spoke, and the reception for Sister Prejean. You are obviously a prophet. Best of luck against Sen. Lott. I'm not sure he's beatable, but I've been wrong before, and this is a case where I would especially like to be wrong again. Cheers, TH
