C-L: City-county relations key issue

Jackson's Ward 6 candidates blew through drainage and development issues, but concerns about city and Hinds County relations raised the most interest.

About 80 people attended the Monday night forum at Forest Hill High School in south Jackson to hear challenger Von Anderson, 27, and one-term incumbent Marshand Crisler, 36, both Democrats.

Crisler, a Hinds County Sheriff's Department employee, will face Anderson, a law student at the University of Denver, in the May 3 primary. The seat will be decided in the primary.
