It's another episode of "All God's Churn Got Shoes!" This week Grandma Pookie, Dr. Peanut and the Ghetto Science Team attend a briefing at a stem cell research conference. When conference officials deny the group access to the briefing, filmmaker Michael Moore comes to the rescue. He helps Grandma Pookie and company (disguised as Moore's film production crew) sneak into the briefing.
During the briefing, scientists, scholars, bioethicists, religious leaders, doctors and researchers share information regarding the great potential of stem cell research. It's Q-and-A time, and the moderator reluctantly takes a lengthy comment and question from Dr. Peanut.
"First of all, ladies and gentlemenzez, the Ghetto Science Team, Grandma Pookie and I have enjoyed the presentation—including your delicious array of snack items and the refreshing spiked punch. It appears that funding stem cell research could open up a new world of healing for individuals with severe health problems. As representatives of financially challenged taxpayers who assist with the funding, we want to know if these poor folk will receive the benefits of this scientific research."
Tune in next time when an intoxicated Grandma Pookie recites lyrics from the "The Message," an old school classic by Grand Master Flash and The Furious Five.
