CARA, a local no kill animal shelter, will be hosting its first fundraiser of the year, Barks, BBQ and Brews, on Thursday, January 30th, at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, starting at 6:00 p.m. The event will feature a silent auction, live entertainment by Hunter Gibson, a cash bar, and all-you-can-eat BBQ by the Cane Creek Cookers.
Planning the event are (from left standing): Liz Kepner, Nancy Welch, Misty Waldrop, and Jack Welch. Seated: Cristy Bullock, Denise Cantrell, Karen Goodman, and Leslie Rosella, along with several CARA pups available for adoption. Tickets are $45 in advance and can be purchased by calling 601-497-0375.
