St. Philip's Episcopal Church celebrates its 31st Annual Goat Roast and Bluegrass Mass on Sunday, October 14. Come and enjoy the olde time gospel music of the Vernon Brothers. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. Bring your chairs and blankets for the outdoor concert, picnic, and petting zoo beginning at noon following the service. Picnic plates are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 The concert is free. Pictured from left are two members of the band, Freeman Vernon (Hal Jeanes) and Connie Bob Vernon (Connie Jeanes).
