The Unemployed DJs and Emcees have assembled for their New Year's Employment Networking Session. Brother Hustle's Compensatory Investment Request Support Group gathered to plan and prepare future meetings and activities for 2013. Congressman Smokey 'Robinson' McBride enjoyed the community-like atmosphere so much that he decided to meet with his staff and coordinate a bi-weekly Political Awareness Think Tank for the Ghetto Science Community.
"The remaining days of 2012 affected my optimism and enthusiasm. Suddenly, I fell into a pit of apathy and doubt. Then Lil' Momma Roscoe reversed my gloomy attitude when she sang the second verse from Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions' R&B classic titled 'Keep on Pushing':
Now, maybe some day, I'll reach that higher goal
I know I can make it with just a little bit of soul,
because I've got my strength and it don't make sense
not to keep on pushin'.
"After listening to Lil' Momma belt out that second verse, I rose out of my seat and hurried to open up Clubb Chicken Wing. I will not let my loyal staff, customers and community down.
"So, in 2013, keep on pushin' and continue to enjoy Lil' Momma's hot wings, the music courtesy of the Unemployed DJs and the community oriented atmosphere at Clubb Chicken Wing--where the party is jumpin,' and the grease is poppin.'"
