Precautionary Water Conservation Notice Update

[verbatim statement] The City of Jackson Water/Sewer Utilities Division announced today that the Precautionary Water Conservation notice is still in effect while water crews flush segments of the system and the Maddox Road water tank rebounds.

The conservation notice should be lifted by mid-day Friday.

The Precautionary Water Conservation Notice is for residents and businesses in the City Limits of Jackson located below I-20, from the Pearl River to Highway 18, south to the city limits, and the Greater Jackson Industrial Park.

This is only for those customers who are served by the surface water system. Those customers on the well water system are not affected.

For more information, customers may call 311 or 601-960-2723, during business hours or 601-960-1777 (or 601-960-1875) after 5:00PM.
