OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — U.S. Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Elena Kagan will speak at the University of Mississippi next month.
The University of Mississippi School of Law will host the event on Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. in Fulton Chapel in Oxford.
The conversation will be moderated by Jack Nowlin, associate dean for faculty development and professor of law at the UM School of Law. Nowlin is a constitutional law expert.
The justices will answer questions from the moderator. There will not be questions taken from the audience.
The event is being made possible by the James McClure Memorial Lectures Endowment. The endowment was established in 1979 by the James McClure and Tupper McClure Lampton to honor their father, James McClure.
