The Hinds County Board of Supervisors passed the county's budget yesterday just hours before a midnight deadline.
WLBT reports that the budget does not require a tax increase.
Hinds County is ending the current fiscal year with a $1.2 million deficit. The county's budget totals $113.7 million which is less than the $119 million budget passed last year.
