The Mississippi Attorney General's office and the Department of Education will host a Facebook Roadshow tonight at Clinton High School.

During the roadshow Facebook staff will demonstrate online safety tips and provide information about social networking. The event will also be broadcasted through the Attorney General's Facebook page.

"As co-chair of the Tech Committee for the National Association of Attorneys General, I have encouraged Facebook to help us educate parents how to monitor their children's internet activities," Attorney General Jim Hood said in a statement.  "I look forward to working with Facebook to give parents and young people the ability to better prevent cyber bullying, threats, and inappropriate solicitations on-line.  I hope that parents will take this opportunity to either kick-start or reclaim control over their child's social networking."

The roadshow begins at 6 p.m. For information, visit http://www.agjimhood.com.
