Media: Dialing Up New Shows

"The Morning Vent" debuts on 930 AM on Monday at 7 a.m. It replaces "Out of Bounds," which is moving to the Jackson-area's new sports talk station.

Kevin Broughton and Jay White will host "The Morning Vent," which will run Monday-Friday from 7-10 a.m. Broughton and White briefly hosted a show together on 620 AM in 2008.

"Out of Bounds," hosted by Bo Bounds, had been on 930 AM for six years. Bounds' show is moving to 105.9 FM, where it will air from 7-10 a.m. starting July 6. The new station, WZNO "The Zone", replaces the now-defunct 1240 AM as the metro's fourth sports talker. 105.9 FM will be an ESPN affiliate and carry Mississippi State football, basketball and baseball. Hopefully its FM signal will make it easier to pick up at night than the old 1240 AM.

Cool! I'm a big sports radio fan and it's great to have one on FM.
