Millsaps quarterback Juan Joseph is among a historic group of Conerly Trophy finalists. Joseph, the first Division III player to be a finalist for the award given annually to Mississippi's outstanding football player, is joined by a pair of Ole Miss players, defensive lineman Peria Jerry and offensive lineman Michael Oher (the first OL finalist). The winner will be announced Dec. 2 in Clarksdale.
Delta State's NCAA Division II quarterfinal game (Saturday, 11 a.m.) will be telecast by CSS. The Statesmen will face GSC rival North Alabama.
