McCain Hearts ACORN

John McCain is attacking Barack Obama by saying it is "bad judgment" to support ACORN. Ahem:

The McCainiacs think this may be a winning issue if they can convince enough voters that a massive army of inner-city crackheads is trying to steal this election one free cigarette at a time.

Now Palin is pushing the ACORN lies. Per CNN:

For the first time, Palin directly addressed the controversy surrounding ACORN’s voter registration operation, and suggested that the media is trying to cover up the story, despite the fact that dozens of national news organizations are covering the community organization and Obama’s ties to the group.

“Let’s talk quickly about ACORN and the unconscionable situation that we are facing right now with voter fraud, given the ties between Obama and ACORN and the money his campaign has sent them,” Palin told Limbaugh. “Obama has a responsibility to reign in ACORN and prove that he is willing to fight voter fraud. For shame if the mainstream media were to cover this one up.”

Agreed, Jeff. It is the one of the most racist stunts the Republican have ever tried to pull. It is not wise. The mood of the country, shall we say, has changed.

That guy with the monkey doll will buy it, though.

This is why I'm hoping the election will be a landslide. I don't wanna hear anymore excuses about this. If the Republicans were ahead in the polls, we'd hear no complaints about voter fraud.

For a party that likes to harp about freedom, democracy and patriotism, they sure are doing whatever they can to supress it here in America.

Guvner Palin is just too much for me. What will she do or say next? I predict McCain is going to go off on her the last 2 weeks when he finally discovers the hole she has dugged for him.

Politicians of both parties have pandered to or have ties with ACORN, which means both sides have legitimized them in the past and overlooked whatever irregularities have been going on. It's hypocritical to now paint it as an "Obama problem".
