Johnson to Hold Public Forums

Mayor-elect Harvey Johnson Jr. has scheduled a series of public forums to allow citizens to voice their concerns.

June 29, 2009

As part of the incoming mayor's transition to Jackson's top spot after his July 3 inauguration, Harvey Johnson Jr. and his transition team will be holding a series of public forums beginning tomorrow and running into July. Each forum begins at 6 p.m. in the City Council chambers, City Hall, 219 S. President St., and will last approximately an hour and a half.

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, June 30: Public Works

Thursday, July 9: Public Safety

Monday, July 13: Planning and Development

Thursday, July 16: Parks and Recreation

Monday, July 20: Human and Cultural Services
