The Best Of Jackson 2008

January 23, 2008

So you think you're funny, eh? You think this whole thing is hilarious, do yuz? Well, it ain't. It ain't one bit funny. You're lookin' here at the most important stuff you may ever read in your pitiful life. What's left of it.

It's the Best of Jackson - these here are the people, places and things that do it the best around this here town (at least, most of 'em). Some of 'em make your life worth livin'. (What's left of it.) Some of 'em need a swift kick in the rear.

So sit back, have a cappuccino or somethin' and - who knows - maybe you'll learn something for once, eh?

Great Cover!

Because Maggie Burks did such a great job mobbing up the contributor photos this week (she took most of the pictures and wrote the captions), Korey put them in a gallery so all you online readers can see them, too.

I can't decide which is the funniest, although Ronni's "not her real name" is damn close.

Izzy: I wouldn't be too sure your church doesn't preach hate if your liturgy is not gender-inclusive. Think about it - is God really a "He" or a "Father"? Those are some images or visions of ...
