“Less” Experience is EXACTLY What This Country Needs….

Ive sat back and watched with eager anticipation the Obama love-fest that has been going on lately. I must say Im pleasantly surprised..proud even..that an African American has risen to such heights. To be bandied about in the press...in a good way...is refreshing. Im currently reading his book "The Audacity of Hope" and have found it captivating. This after having just finished the book "Leadership" by Rudy Guliani just days before. And I found one thing to be true. When you vote person or conscience over party you almost assuredly will come out better. I don't subscribe to either a democrat of republican mindset...Guliani had good points and Obama does too. In reading, they BOTH want the same thing..its just that partisan views and rhetoric get in the way of good common sense..

Point is...The naysayers are harping on the fact that Barak has only two years in the senate...SO? Whats your point? Its not brain surgery, its not mathematic equations, its not rearing kids..things where a little seasoning can be of some help. Folks have misconstrued what being "President" is..Fact is ANYONE with good GOD given common sense, independent thought process, and a genuine love of people and keeping THEIR best interests at heart can lead us. Some better than others of course but Im glad that Barak has only been wading in the cesspool that is Washington politics for two years. It means he's not tainted and can think on his own outside of special interests...In this case...less is more!

...And I started with "Audacity of Hope" because i wanted more insight on his policy not just the autobiographical stuff. Ill go back to it eventually.

I'm working on the idea that somehow less experience in Washington equals a better President. There have been several Presidents with zero experience in Washington DC, some have been good presidents and some haven't. Being an outsider also means being beholden to the party for anything.
