Looking for a night of great family entertainment? Check out these places this Halloween and let the fun begin.

Oct. 29 8th Annual Haunting of Olde Town in Clinton
6 to 8:30 p.m. 201 W. Leake St., Clinton 601-718-4206 Fun, entertainment and games for the entire family. $1 admission per person or one can of food per person.

Oct. 29 Trunk-or-Treat Freedom Ridge Park
6 to 8 p.m. 235 W. School St., Ridgeland 601-853-2011 Games, trick-or-treat, hayrides and face painting in a safe environment.

Oct. 30 Harvest Fall Carnival
Tougaloo College, Kroger Gym 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. 500 W. County Line Road 601-977-7700 Games and candy. $1 Admission

Oct. 30 Costume Fun Contest
Metro Center Mall 6:30 to 8 p.m. 3645 Highway 80 W. 601-354-7800 Must be accompanied by parent

Oct. 30 Hallelujah Night
Faith Community Fellowship Church 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. 6893 Medgar Evers Blvd. 601-362-0564

Oct. 30-31 Yazoo County Fair
930 Lamar Ave., Yazoo City 662-746-7984 Saturday matinee, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. $6; Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., $9

Oct. 30-31 Boo at the Zoo
Jackson Zoo 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. 2918 W. Capitol St. 601-352-2580 "A safe, not scary" event for the whole family, including costume contest, storytelling, space jumps and trick-or-treat. Adults $7, children (12 and under) $4 and under age 2, free. Zoo members: adults $6 and children $3. Last ticket is sold at 8:30 p.m. each night.

Oct. 31 Haunted Corn and Maze
Rock-a-Doodle Ranch 887 Highway 17, Canton 601-594-0389 General admission, $6, includes maze and other activities. Maze open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Haunted admission, $7, starts at 7 p.m.

Oct. 31 Harvest Fun Carnival
Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum 5 to 8 p.m. 1150 Lakeland Drive 601-713-3365 Adults $5, seniors $4, kids age 6-18 $3 and kids age 3-5 $1

Oct. 31 Jeepers Creepers
Clinton NatureCenter 617 Dunton Road Clinton 601-926-1104

Oct. 31 Kids Night Out: A Halloween Alternative
Winners Circle Park 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. 100 Winners Circle, Flowood 601-992-4440
