Thirteen must-see Mississippi football games this fall. Check it out.

• Sept. 13: Millsaps at Belhaven: Some day, the winners of this backyard brawl will take home the JFP Trophy.

• Oct. 4: Southern at Jackson State: The old stadium will be packed for the SWAC Championship preview.

• Oct. 11: Alcorn State at Mississippi Valley State: Wins will be tough to come by for these two.

• Oct. 25: Mississippi Valley State at Jackson State: Country comes to the city, and ugliness ensues. ... Ole Miss at Arkansas: Houston Nutt goes back to face his former employer.

• Nov. 8: Southern Miss at UCF: This will decide who wins the C-USA East.

• Nov. 15: Mississippi State at Alabama: Will Sly Croom continue his dominance of the Tide?

• Nov. 22: Alcorn State at Jackson State: The Soul Bowl always makes or breaks somebody’s season ... Ole Miss at LSU: The last time Houston Nutt led a team into Baton Rouge, the Tigers were upset.

• Nov. 28: Mississippi State at Ole Miss: Do you think Ole Miss will be going for it on fourth down this year?
