And It Continues: McDaniel Announces Press Conference Monday

In case anyone is worried that Mississippi's U.S. Senate election madness is winding down, Sen. Chris McDaniel announced today he will be holding a press conference Monday to "announce a major development regarding the results of the June 24 runoff election."

Will he concede? Will he finally challenge the results of the senate run-off? Will he buy a stake in GotNews.com and leave the senate to become a media mogul? One can only speculate.

The press conference will be at McDaniel's lead attorney Mitch Tyner's office on Monday at 2:30pm.

The last few press releases we received about press conferences to discuss "McDaniel developments" said the McDaniel campaign would be making statements—but this one said McDaniel (himself) will be holding the press conference. We're hopeful that means he'll actually be there.

Yesterday McDaniel supporters attended U.S Senator Thad Cochran's political speech at Neshoba County Fair holding signs that read "betrayed" and wearing red tape over their mouths. Tea Party members are angry with what they call "unethical practices" that took place during the senate election.

But the three courthouse stooges wouldn't know anything about that.
