Whitlow Newsletter - 13 - Leadership Matters

[verbatim] Leadership Matters: The political landscape will be clear after the May 3rd democrat primary. I have been asked on many occasions if I had a preference of opponent. The answer has always been and continues to be, “it does not matter who the opponent is.” We will continue to be a results oriented campaign focused on the issues citizens have repeatedly said are most important to them. At the top of that list is CRIME... Remember, LEADERSHIP MATTERS.

Point Of Order: Hopefully you will be able to attend Rick’s press conference on Wednesday, May 4th, 2005, from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM. at 612 North State Street, Suite A (The Ewing Building). We will officially kickoff our general election effort, talk about specific plans to address the crime situation in Jackson, and take questions about our platform. It will be a great way to spend part of your lunch hour! Bring a friend. We hope to see you Wednesday and certainly on the campaign trail leading up to June 7th .

Support: Thanks you for your continued prayers and support. We are building a strong volunteer force. Keep those sign-ups coming! We need and appreciate your continued and generous financial support to be prepared for the general election campaign. You can make a secure donation online at www.rickwhitlowformayor.com or by mail to Post Office Box 1202, Jackson, MS 39215. Checks should be made payable to the Committee to Elect Rick Whitlow.

Don’t forget to write a letter to the editor or call a radio talk show to show your support for Rick’s candidacy. It is a great way to reach a large number of voters with a very short statement.

Trailbits:

Rick is working hard on the Campaign trail, so if you see him out and about, don’t hesitate to talk to him, share your concerns, your ideas for solutions or just say hello.

Website: Individuals can learn more about the candidate and sign up for future newsletters on the website at www.Rickwhitlowformayor.com
