Whitlow Newsletter - 12 - Leadership Matters

Newsletter: Please share this newsletter with all your friends, colleagues, and family. They can also access the newsletter directly from www.rickwhitlowformayor.com

Leadership Matters: Though purposely flying below the political radar screen during the Democrat primary, I, am very happy with how our campaigning is going. We have been and will continue to be issue oriented. Voters will want and need specifics, and I will continue to provide them with the details required to make a wise decision on June 7th.

Be patient, stay informed, and ask the hard questions. I hope to get us back on track addressing the issues of the day and provide ideas on what should be done, and how we should go about proactively getting things done. Positive change is just around the corner with a vote for Rick Whitlow. ”Leadership Matters.”

Point Of Order: Racial reconciliation MUST occur in the City of Jackson in order for it to reach its full potential in economic development, crime reduction, competitive education and the overall quality of life. Each Jacksonian must try harder, more often, and more sincerely to move beyond the issues that have long divided the community to achieve racial reconciliation. No one will win in a community divided. We have the will and the courage to move forward into the future without continually looking back to the past. Rick Whitlow as the City leader will set the tone and create an atmosphere of cooperation, commitment, confidence, and a new level of trust. Together we can achieve much.

Support: We are building a strong volunteer force. Thank you! We need and appreciate your continued and generous financial support to be prepared for the general election campaign. You can make a secure donation online at www.rickwhitlowformayor.com or by mail to Post Office Box 1202, Jackson, MS 39215. Checks should be made payable to the Committee to Elect Rick Whitlow.

Don’t forget to write a letter to the editor or call a radio talk show to show your support for Rick’s candidacy. It is critical to keep the campaign message before the voters during this time when the focus is on the Democrat primary.
