Business Spotlight: Haley's Comet (209 Commerce St.)
Haley Fisher opened her new Jackson night club, Haley's Comet, on March 19 in the former location of Club Fire. After purchasing the building, Fisher completely remodeled the interior of the club, making new additions such as an octagonal bar in the center of the building with a DJ booth set on a raised platform above, six new pool tables, a large stage in the back and concrete floors in favor of the original wood floor. The building can fit up to 600 people, and while the club's bar only serves beer for now, Fisher plans to obtain a liquor license for the club in a few months.
Haley's Comet is open 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Haley's Comet features deejays every Friday and live music every Saturday. For more information, call 985-507-4606 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
