Josephine Haxton, whose pen name was Ellen Douglas, died this past week after a long illness.
The family will receive friends and admirers in the Ellen Douglas room of the Eudora Welty Library this Tuesday, November 13, between 10-11:30 am.
There will be a graveside service in Natchez at 3:30 the same day.
