Missing person "of the day"? Why the fear generating "moniker"?-headline?-series "tag-line"?, news byte? This strongly reeks of the various Clarion Ledgers Jackson "murder and mayhem" series during the first two Harvey Johnson administrations. Report on the story, sure. Good idea. The family and community appreciate it. But why intimate with your series name that Jackson is a hot bed of abduction?

Yeah, I don't like that, either, Frank, and hadn't seen it already. I was out giving a talk yesterday when the Daily came together. Apparently, the Daily editors meant it as the Person of the Day and added the "Missing," not realizing that it makes it look like it's a daily problem. I'm changing it now, and will ask them to put a clarification in today's Daily. Thanks for pointing it out.

Frank, I'm not finding your email address, but I'm guessing you'll see this. I brought those other two books I told you about yesterday to the office: "Social Change 2.0" (David Gershon) and "Be the Change: How to Get What You Want In Your Community" by Thomas Linzy. They're both here in the classroom if you want to come by and flip through. Recommended to others reading this as well. Thanks, Donna
