Miss Doodle Mae: "This holiday season, folks are counting down to more cutbacks. The mantra for the shameless corporate executives is cut back, back, back. Business decisions to eliminate jobs to enable CEO bonuses and privileges slit the throats of today's workers who bleed hopelessness, fear, apathy and desperation. I guess one could say that the metaphoric blood of unemployed workers runs in the streets.

"All of this gloom, despair, agony, dark depression and excessive misery inspired our fearless leader to ask: What can we do this holiday to make everything all right for victims of the corporate cut back blues?

"The answer came from aisle three of Jojo's Discount Dollar Store, where DJ 'Old School' Pete set up his turntables, audio mixer and speakers, and played an incredible mix of uplifting old-school R&B, soul, blues, jazz, gospel, hip-hop and Christmas music.

"Jojo already figured out the answer to his question. He gave DJ 'Old School' Pete a weekly gig to play some music to charm and soothe the souls of the economically distressed. This is what I call being in tune with the people. And this is why customers and staff respect Jojo so much. He epitomizes a verse from a Staple Singers song that says: 'Reach out, touch a hand, and make a friend if you can!'

"Jojo's Discount Dollar Store wants to encourage, uplift and strengthen your spirits this holiday season with the 'Reach Out and Touch Someone Post Black Friday Sale.' Happy Holidays!"
