Alternative Send-Offs
The theory that tossing rice at wedding send-offs is harmful to our feathered friends is nothing more than a silly old bride's tale. But while it may not pose a threat to robins or sparrows, the ancient custom of fertility and abundance can be hazardous to your guests' health. Rice scattered across hard surfaces is slippery, not to mention a pain to clean up.
