Kamikaze (Hip-Hop)

As one of the critically acclaimed duo, "Crooked Lettaz" with David Banner, Kamikaze is a seasoned veteran in the Hip-Hop game, having no less than 15 years of experience behind the microphone. Tired of the waiting game, he decided to create his own record company, OurGlass Entertainment. Through this new company, he recorded a solo album to help keep his name fresh in a very fickle market. Mr. Sho-Nuff believes that his foray in to the world of major labels helped to prepare him better for his solo venture. He says "I liken myself to the Bruce Springsteen of rap music because I appeal to the regular everyday person who isn't papered up or rolling on 24's." Kamikaze is also the president and founder of the Mississippi Artist And Producers Coalition.

M.A.P. was formed out of the need for a vehicle to better unite Mississippi artists and their companies regardless of affiliation or musical genre. Out of that original, singular goal came a coalition designed to not only help promote Mississippi artists, but a coalition that promises to exercise creative, social, and economic muscle. In addition, M.A.P. pledges to better inform new artists on the ins and outs of the music industry while at the same time better preparing them for life after music.
