Call for Artists: Mississippi Museum of Art

April 10-12 is the Mississippi Museum of Art's "A Mississippi Celebration." The three day symposium features events celebrating the culture of Mississippi, such as workshops, demonstrations, live music, and an art bazaar. The Art Bazaar is a sidewalk art sale in the breezeway between the Museum and Thalia Mara. The Museum is offering 10'x10' spaces to local artists free of charge on a first-come first-served basis. Call for Artists: Arts, Eats, and Beats 2008

Art Eats and beats has just been announced with three bands, art market, and a NEW SPOT! They are going to cut off N. State St. this year in front of Kolbs cleaners and let the stage and art market go right in the middle of downtown Fondren.
