The event features more than 72 teams from five states, including eight teams from Mississippi. The players range in age from 12 to 18 years old.

Walk for a Wish

Registration is at 7:30 a.m. The Chi Delta Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity at Millsaps College is the sponsor. The event includes a walk and a one-mile fun run. The race begins at the north entrance on Riverside Drive. Proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Boxers Rebellion Fight Clinic

Boxers, kickboxers and mixed martial arts fighters learn ways to sharpen their skills. The luncheon is March 9, and classes are March 10-11 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Racing for Donation 8K Run/Walk

On Liberty Road, Flowood. The Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency is the host. The race also includes a one-mile fun run for children ages 12 and under. Parking available at the agency's parking lot (4400 Lakeland Drive, Flowood).

Natchez Trace Century Ride

Enjoy a scenic bike ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Choose from distances of 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles. Rest stops with refreshments will be available approximately every 10 miles. T-shirt and post-ride meal included. Online registration at natchezcenturyride.racesonline.com through May 9.

Dragon Boat Regatta
