"This feels like high school!!!" This is what my best friend told me at the end of Homecoming Week 2009, specifically during our Teacher Talent Show. Now, this depiction of pedagoguish aptitude isn't annual in any way. In fact, this was probably one of Mrs. Haynes' [principal] rare occasions. Well, she needs to have more of them.
Sep. 25, 2009 - It will always be a mystery to me, the diversity of the world. But because of the nature of my existence, I cannot judge or try to change a people. It is their right to believe in the things that they believe in. Though their beliefs may seem immoral, unjust, unjustifiable, illreasonable, and just plain wrong, I must find the strength within myself to respect this population. Because, I would expect the same respect from them.
Sep. 20, 2009 - A few months ago, this little project of ours was just starting. We had almost no idea what we would be doing with this thing. Now, we have a lot going, but we still have a long way to go.
Sep. 15, 2009 - I know that I won't be the first and certainly not the last when I say that my senior year is passing me by. So far, this has been the fastest school year of my existence, but it's not as good as I'd hoped. For one, I feel like I have to rush to get anything done.
Sep. 15, 2009 - There you have it. Football is more than a sweaty sport with an even sweatier devout following. It’s a link to community togetherness and pride, and a chance for me to check out some really nice bodies when the cameras go in for the close up. Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!
