What will Michelle Obama wear on Inauguration Day?

WWD.com has a slideshow of inauguration dress sketches from designers such as Isaac Mizrahi, Zac Posen and Diane von Furstenburg. There are sketches for Sasha and Malia as well. Which sketches are your favorites?

I'm loving Betsey Johnson's design! I usually don't like her so much, but it would be a great reclaiming of the red, white and blue :) Also loving anything Jackie'esque.

I don't know what Michelle is wearing on Inauguration, but, I hope like heck it is nothing like the dres she wore for his Victory/acceptance. The Red & Black? It was awful! (In my opinion).

Maybe she should go to the racks and leave the designers alone. She did well in the Black & White Store. Did you like the dress she wore on the View?

Thanks for the slide show. I watched it after blogging the article. There were some stunning dresses and some not so stunning, also. There is a one shoulder, red with a flarred bottom that was off the chain. She is well built, and wears knit fabric well. I have not cared much for the flower (signature piecd) around the neck of many of her outfits.

I actually liked the red and black dress, justjess. The designer was Narciso Rodriguez, who is known for designing dresses that are not run-of-the-mill. She added the cardigan, though. It was probably chilly that night.

I loved the dress she wore on The View. I want one myself!

L.W. I think it was the way the light hit it. The dress had black silk around the waist. The red part looked fleece when the lights hit it and of course, it didn't take long to figure that the cardigan was a last minute throw on. I saw that dress on the runway. It looked great on the model. It had spaghetti straps.

You can tell the dress was modified a little for Michelle. As is, it may have been too revealing for her.
