High school football, Jackson Prep vs. MRA in MPSA AAA, Division I championship (7 p.m., Mississippi College, Clinton, 970 AM): The rampaging Patriots from Flowood aim to crown another perfect season with a state title. And they will.
Saturday, Nov. 15
College football, Mississippi State at Alabama (6:45 p.m., Tuscaloosa, Ala., ESPN/105.9 FM): The Bulldogs go for their third straight victory against The Crimson Tide. Unfortunately for State, Bama is unbeaten and ranked No. 1 this year.
Mens college basketball, Millsaps at Belhaven (7 p.m., Jackson): The Majors and Blazers battle for the mythical but, oh so important JFP Cup at Rugg Arena.
Sunday, Nov. 16
NFL football, New Orleans at Kansas City (noon, Ch. 40/620 AM): The Saints try to get back to .500 against the NFLs second-worst team. But remember, these are the Saints.
Dallas at Washington (7:15 p.m., Ch. 3): The Cowboys are fighting for their playoff lives.
Monday, Nov. 17
Junior college basketball, Northwest Mississippi at Hinds (women, 6 p.m., and men, 8 p.m., Utica): The Rangers and Rangerettes invade southern Hinds County. Do juco players still dunk during pre-game warm-ups?
NFL football, Cleveland at Buffalo (7:30 p.m., ESPN/930 AM): The Browns and Bills are both desperate, so this could be entertaining.
Tuesday, Nov. 18
College basketball, Belhaven at Wesley (women, 5 p.m., men, 7 p.m., Florence): The Blazers head to Rankin County for a doubleheader.
Wednesday, Nov. 19
Mens college basketball, North Alabama at Mississippi State in Legends Tournament (7 p.m., Starkville, 105.9 FM): If the Bulldogs cant beat a Division II team, this will be a long, long season.
College football, Ball State at Central Michigan (6 p.m., ESPN2): The Cardinals and Chippewas face off in a crucial MAC West showdown.
