Smooth Move, Brett
Last week, the Green Bay Packers filed tampering charges against the Minnesota Vikings in connection with un-retiring quarterback Brett Favre. How did the Packers know that Favre had been talking with the Vikings (a no-no since Favre is still under contract)? Favre made "repeated" calls to two Vikings coaches on a cell phone issued by the Packers, according to a newspaper story. Doh!
Meanwhile, the Packers might be ready to trade Favre. Remember to turn in that phone, Brett.
