M-Braves Star Suspended
Just in time for Wednesday night's home opener, Mississippi Braves outfielder Jordan Schafer has been suspended for 50 games for using human growth hormone. The Roger Clemens wannabe is ranked as one of the Braves' top prospects and was expected to be Atlanta's starting center fielder no later than 2009. At least he won't have to play in Pearl for a while.

Any baseball player who's on performance-enhancing drugs ought to be kicked out simply for being stupid. Why risk taking these drugs, knowing that there is such an outcry over Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens and that MLB is testing more players?

My issue with these drugs is the same as it is for cigarettes. If it's presents such a negative affect or image, why is it made available for people. Why all this hooplah about smoking ordinances when every corner store sells them and there are no laws to remove them. Same applies here.

Queen- HGH do have real medical uses, they are used to treat multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and chron's disease, that's why it is avaiable.
