Fresh Start 2009 Career & College Fair

[verbatim] Are you looking for a new job for the New Year or are you ready to take the next step to getting that degree? Then the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center is where you will want to be.

The “Fresh Start” 2009 Career & College Fair is Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center. This is the ideal opportunity for you to connect with colleges and universities, and area businesses.

“Despite the grim employment outlook, there are businesses out there that are hiring,” says Lori Greer, Deputy Director/CFO for the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation. “We are bringing those Mississippi businesses to the Medical Mall to make it more convenient for people looking for work. In addition, state colleges and universities will be on-hand to help future students with the enrollment process,” adds Greer. “This is really a one-stop shop for those wanting to get on the path to a brighter future. We encourage you to take that first step to a fresh start.”

The public is invited to attend the career and college free of charge. Booth space is $25 and assigned on a first come basis. Call (601) 982-8467 to reserve a booth as an employment or college recruiter.

“Fresh Start” 2009 Career & College Fair is sponsored by the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, WRBJ 97.7 FM Radio, and 16-WAPT.
