The art gallery listings page needs an overhaul, and I need your help. I want to have as complete a list as possible for the Fall Arts Preview, and it would be great if anyone who either owns a gallery or knows someone who does in the metro Jackson area could look at the current list of galleries and let me know about any name changes, closed galleries, new galleries, galleries that have moved, etc. Send the following information to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) read on »
Santore Bracey was featured as a Jacksonian in the Jackson Free Press back in March 2006. On July 3, he participated in Fox 40's American Idol auditions and was chosen as one of the five top contestants for that day. (You can see his audition here.)

Allowing for time served, Kilpatrick could spend as little as 14 months in prison but will be required to resume restitution payments to the ... read on »
This year, Zeta Tau Alpha won a step-off that was sponsored by Sprite. The footage was taken by an audience member, so the camera angle is a little off, but take a look at the video (almost 10 minutes):
It's been a while since I've seen THIS much snow in these parts, so I decided to capture some of the white stuff on my handy little Cybershot. Enjoy!
If you or someone you know needs a warm place to go in the midst of this nasty winter blast we're having, the city of Jackson has several options available. Verbatim:
