I pick up the J.F.P up from time to time an when I come to town and read online and I notice that I see J.F.P on Clarion Lie rs rack in some grocery and in some convence stores and I also have seen them in a few of those big green monsters boxes.

I was just wondering why ]J.F.P would place there product on racks or in property they do not own or do you have an agreement with them? Now I also notice other media products as well Wall Street Journal USA Today The Commcerical appeal and I think I have seen the New York Times but I could be wrong.I am just wandering because if I had a product that I Know was superior to my competition I would not wont to place my product on the shelves or in their rack or boxes , near yes in or on NO. That is like putting Pepsi in a Coke box or Frito Lays on a Golden Flakes Shelf.

Hi Smooth:

I’d love to get specific locations that you’re talking about. Unless I have a confused driver, the JFP should not be in Green boxes, but it might be in Red and Grey boxes that are owned by the Mississippi Independent Publisher’s Association. If you can give me a specific example, that’d be great.

In a few isolated incidences, a store owner or manager has asked us to place papers on a group rack—one example is McDade’s Maywood. Those racks are generally owned by the store itself and provided for all or most publications that go from that store.

Again, if you have a specific example that’d be great to know! We have over 425 locations and it’s always possible that one of our drivers is confused or a store manager is moving us around, and we like to follow up when that happens.
